I am looking to buy a new backpack for my daughter. Ordinarily I would have waited until next year, but her Jansport backpack has finally broken after almost five years. We have been very satisfied with the quality of the Jansport; however, they no longer sell the same model, and she doesn't like the new style.

She is 5'11, so I want something that will fit well (so maybe not women's fit?). She'll use it for the rest of her senior year, then for college. It needs to hold at least a large binder, two textbooks, a laptop (she has a 17 inch right now, but that'll change soon), plus some odds and ends.

I was thinking maybe the Recon (I think it has the most attractive colors), although that seems like it may be too small. Otherwise she also likes the Big Shot, and Box Shot.
